- Without you, today's emotions would be the scurf of yesterday's. Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain or also more commonly known as Amélie
- Hey! What're you kicking me for? You want me to ask? All right, I'll ask! Ma'am, where do the high school girls hang out in this town? Swingers
- Who knows where thoughts come from? They just appear. Empire Records
- Sir. Whilst I don't wish to be rude, I do believe that you watched too many Tarzan films as an impressionable child. Mean Machine
- The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes, everything else is pure theory. Lola rennt or more commonly known as Run Lola Run
- That's Tommy. He tells people he was named after a gun, but I know he was really named after a famous 19th century ballet dancer. Snatch
- You're the only woman for me. You and Janet Jackson. Enemy of the State
- If you hold back anything, I'll kill ya. If you bend the truth, or I think you're bending the truth, I'll kill ya. If you forget anything, I'll kill ya. In fact, you're gonna have to work very hard to stay alive Nick. Now, do you understand everything I've just said? Cause' if you don't, I'll kill ya! Now, Mr Bubble and Squeak, you may enlighten me. - My line? My most effective one is to tell a girl she has hair like a tortured midnight, lips like a red couch in an ivory palace that I'm lonely and starved for affection. Then, I generally burst into tears -- It seldom works. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

All I know is #3. Empire Records. The rest? I am useless.
I estimate you've seen about 6 of them.
Sigh. Combination of hard quotes and lack of audience for audience participation.
I know when you write them out, I will be like "OH, OF COURSE". But now, I just look at them and get confused.
Ya, all I knew was #3, too. And I know that Vince Vaughn said #2, but I can't remember which movie he said it in. Maybe Swingers? And the #10 might be him, too. But I'm not sure.
You're right Ky, #2 is from Swingers. There is only one Vince Vaughn movie on the list.
Some hints:
#1 is the only one said out loud by a woman.
Half of the films are American made. There is one German, one French and three British.
#10 is from the only movie made before I was born.
wow - I never felt movie illiterate before now... but I really am curious to know where #s 5 & 9 are from... I think they're GREAT! :)
Do I really have that strange of taste in movies? The quotes may only be recognised by people like me who've seen these movies a ridiculous number of times.
More hints:
#7 is from a big budget action movie.
#10 is a musical that its most famous song was in another most recent musical.
#4, 6 & 8 have the same producer and many of the same actors. #4 & 8 are said by the same actor but he is not a well known actor.
Are 3 of them from Guy Ritchie movies? I know for sure that number 8 is. I'm pretty sure that the really sexy dad from Bend it Like Beckham says it, which means it's from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. I think that means that number 4 is from Snatch? That one is a guess, though.
Guy Ritchie directed but did not produce Snatch. So he is a producer of 2/3. Matthew Vaughn produced all three. Matthew Vaughn and Guy Ritchie have only worked on three movies together so what is the third?
#8 is from Lock, Stock but it was Rory Breaker (the gangster with the righteous afro)
#4 is not from Snatch but #6 is. The main characters in Snatch are Turkish and Tommy.
Is #10 singing in the rain? And does Donald O'Connor say it?
Is 5 from Mean Machine?
#4 & #8 were said by Vas Blackwood. He played Rory Breaker in Lock, Stock and Massive, the prisoner's football manager, in Mean Machine.
#1 is read aloud by Amélie to a train conductor. Later she writes it on a wall along the author's path home.
#7 is Will Smith's character after his wife finds out he has been meeting with an ex-girlfriend for lunches.
#9 On a road trip to Vegas, Ty Diggs character doubts that Breckin Meyer's character's great-grandmother was black.
#10 If you have not seen Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, see it, see it, see it! A lot of times I find the humour in old movies feels dated but this one does not. People forget the reason why Marilyn Monroe became so famous -- she was a great comedic actress.
