Rental Dysfunction

Words really cannot describe how upset I am right now. This morning I got the key for my new place. This evening I was told that the rent agreement had to be changed. Now the amount we agreed on before would only be temporary until some needed improvements are made. After that time the rent would be way more than I could afford by myself. The movers are scheduled to come in a week. There is no way I can move to this place by myself, there is no guarantee that I will find a roommate. I feel so betrayed, these people are supposed to be my friends. I already had a stressful enough week ahead of me because of work now I have this to deal with.
