Sad to hear the movie Whip It isn't doing better at the box office. Why do I feel like it is because it isn't about a woman who fails at love and final finds "the one"? Broaden your horizon's people!

Here's an interesting thought. I have seen the trailer twice before, both times thinking that the movie looked bad. I saw a short thing with Drew Barrymore going cross-country talking to people saying how awesome the movie was going to be and how excited she was. Still not impressed. You say "broaden your horizons" and I watch the trailer again. Looks great. I laughed out loud. For whatever reason that is, thank you. I'm now somewhat excited to see it.
I think the main problem is it is a female sports movie and those are hard to promote. It is funny and is a good coming of age story. I hope you enjoy it James.
