Out of no where

So I keep on seeing this woman Kerry Washington's picture everywhere. She was even on the cover of a bridal magazine someone bought for my newly engaged cousin. Finally today I had enough, who is this woman? I looked her up. She is an actress and I don't think I have seen her in anything at all. I did find out however that she is engaged to David Moscow (aka David Jacobs from Newsies). That is totally bizarre.
