I've always wondered with shows like that if they have "back up" people. What would've happened if one of the babies died of SIDs or something? Same with my Ntl Geographic "In the Womb" dvd. What if they lady needed a c-section or the baby came 8 weeks early? They wanted to whole the full gestation and a natural delivery, so did they film someone else too, or just be willing to do it over again if something changed?
Dixie: I've wondered similar things too when watching nature documentaries. What happens if the crew loses track of the animals they are following? They must follow several for coverage. Also I've watched a couple competition based documentaries lately - Spellbound - WordPlay - Mad Hot Ballroom and all of them follow the winner(s) from beginning to end. How did the producers know that?
Looks interesting!

It's Sufjan Stevens, of course. I should have known.
