How ya feelin'?

Supposed to be even hotter today than yesterday. I was so hot last night as I tried to fall asleep, I covered my feet in a cold, wet towel. At least it is supposed to be cooler the next two days. I plan to not turn on the oven today.

My job prospects are rather depressing. I have not had a teaching position to apply for in weeks. I have not had a single interview for any of teaching positions I have applied for. I have no idea what to do with my life. People tell me I need to get a full time job (like I am choosing subbing over a contract). What happened to this alleged math teacher shortage?

I read an interesting article about Nick Ray in the Vanity Fair Hollywood edition. He wrote and directed Rebel Without a Cause. It was interesting to find out the story that he wanted to make (which could never be made in the 50s). The resulting story still had parents freaking out.
