Into the Mind of Janny

On Monday my friend Laurel came into town for the day with her baby Kayce. She was there to pick up a friend at the airport. She came early so we could spend the afternoon together. She took me out for dinner for my birthday and then we spent the afternoon shopping. Kayce is so precious. She is only 5 weeks old but has a full head of hair.

I worked two days this week at the school at Asquith. Of course the days I was was booked for them were the only days when Saskatoon Public called me for work. I feel bad turning down work but I was already booked. Would have been nice to work 4 days this week instead of 2.

I really enjoyed my time at Asquith school. On Tuesday I was in a grade 6 classroom. They were a little lively at time but it is too be expected, they are in grade 6. Today I was in for a math/computer teacher. It was a really nice day. The principal adores me. She asked if I can come back later this month. She was the administrator who interviewed me for the subbing position. At the interview she told me she wished she could hire me full time.

I had a sleep over last night. I met my friend Ky yesterday at the university. I invite her over to my place to watch some Gilmore Girls episodes she had not seen. I didn't think we could finish them before prayer meeting so I invited her to sleep over. I dropped her off on my way to Asquith this morning. It was good to spend time with her.
